Do you enjoy visiting with people in their homes or at care facilities? No prior experience is necessary as all volunteers receive training through the Catholic Health Association of BC.
The Pastoral Care Visitation Program connects pastoral visitors with parishioners who may be isolated or disconnected from the parish community.
Volunteers work in teams of two to offer emotional and spiritual support to people who are homebound or in long-term care. Loneliness is one of the main reasons people request physician assisted suicide, so the gift of your presence can make a big difference.
