The Liturgy of the Word with Children takes place during the Liturgy of the Word at Mass. It's held in a separate room at the 9 am and 11 am Masses, not far from the main sanctuary.
During this time, catechists share the Scripture stories in a way that makes sense to children. The kids then return to the sanctuary in time for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
